At the METS 2002 International Marine Equipment Trade Show in Amsterdam, the Dotan Kick-Up Rudder System was awarded the grand prize in the category “Deck Equipment, Sails & Rigging.”
The DAME Award was granted for outstanding achievements in the development of marine equipment and innovative solutions for shipbuilding.
The METS exhibition is the largest annual event in Europe in the field of marine equipment. In 2002, companies from 37 countries participated in the competition, presenting 138 innovative developments. The evaluation was conducted by an international panel of experts in sailing, marine technology, design, and marketing.
