Purpose The rudder is specifically designed for Optimist dinghies and is ideal for club use.

High-Quality Okoumé Wooden Blade: Made from durable Okoumé plywood with a triple-layer varnish coating that ensures longevity and wear resistance. The blade profile, based on the NACA 0009 hydrodynamic design, minimizes water resistance, enhancing maneuverability and speed.

Rudder Box: Constructed from glass-filled polyamide with UV protection, making it resistant to water, salt, and sunlight.

Durable and Lightweight Tiller: The tiller is made from anodized aluminum with a diameter of 28 mm and a wall thickness of 1.5 mm. A protective cap at the end prevents water ingress.

Rudder Gudgeons and Adjustment: The rudder comes with gudgeons featuring Ø8 mm holes, making it convenient and versatile for most boats. The adjustable design allows for easy customization of the gudgeon spacing: the upper rudder gudgeon easily fits onto the guiding rail and is secured with four included screws.
