Automatic Obstacle Protection When encountering underwater obstacles such as rocks, sandbanks, or debris, the mechanism automatically lifts the blade, preventing damage and ensuring uninterrupted sailing. Optimized for Small Sailboats The system is suitable for dinghies and catamarans ranging from 1.5 to 3,5 meters (5–12 feet) in length, including popular Optimist class boats.

Components Rudder Head (Stock) Manufactured from high-quality, UV-resistant material, ensuring long-lasting durability in marine environments. The package includes a reliable transom mount bracket for secure installation. Durable Wooden Blade Crafted from multilayer Okoumé plywood with a three-layer varnish coating for enhanced strength and wear resistance. The hydrodynamic NACA 0009 profile minimizes water resistance, optimizing speed and course stability. Tiller Made from anodized aluminum (ø28 mm, wall thickness 1.5 mm), offering excellent corrosion resistance. A protective end cap prevents water ingress, extending the tiller’s service life. Transom Mounting The rudder system is easily adjustable to fit various transom configurations. The upper pintle slides along the guiding rail and is secured with four screws included in the kit. Both the upper and lower rudder gudgeons are equipped with Ø6 mm pins, ensuring a secure attachment.
